Christmas morning 2009

Don't we look beautiful early on Christmas morning.
WOW can't you just see the excitement on our faces!!! That's because the girls woke up and came into our room every hour starting at 2:00 am, until we finally got up at 5:30 am. Kelly was worried about not seeing them open their gifts before he had to go to work. Ha, ha, ha!

Lacey's Christmas Choir Concert

Lacey wanted to be in the school choir for Christmas. She had to get up early a couple of mornings a week for a month to be to the school by 7:00 am for practice. She never complained once! We are so proud of her. They only performed twice though. Once on a freezing night on the bridge over the Snake River at Taylor's Crossing, and then for family and friends and the school. She had fun.

Tyler's fish

This is Tyler with the fish he caught while steelheading in Salmon. He got to miss school for four days and go with Kelly and Grandpa Madsen.

The babies

These are pictures of Lorinda and Ezra's twins, Emmie and Ella; and Andy and Kayla's baby, Quinton. These pictures were taken on the same day--their blessing day. I went to Utah for Emmie and Ella's blessing and Kelly went to Boise for Quinton's blessing.

Halloween Weekend

Kelly and I went separate ways this Halloween. He went to Boise to his brother, Andy's baby blessing, and I went to American Fork for my sister, Lorinda's twins baby blessing. We had a lot of fun in Utah. We made pizza and hung out at Lorinda's house while all the neices and nephews went trick or treating around her neighborhood. I have to say, she has quite the exciting neighborhood! The girls had a blast.

My sister's beautiful girls

I got to go down to Utah and help my little sister with her twins. While I was there, we took them out for their first photo shoot. Here are some of my favorites!

Changes and Additions!

Shawn and Alice Ann

Kynsley

Emmie and Ella

My family has been experiencing some big (AND UNEXPECTED) changes these last couple of months. My two youngest sisters, Danielle and Lorinda, have both had babies. My older sister, Serena and her family, moved back to Idaho after 21 years and she is expecting in November. My oldest brother, Shawn, got remarried. Kelly's brother, Andy, and his wife, Kayla, just had a baby too! Wow, what a busy couple of months!

School Elections

Alexia ran for President of her school and she won! We are so proud of her for even trying. (Something I never would have had the courage to do) The awesome thing is that her best friend , Mckay, won as Vice President. These two do everything together!

First Day of School 2009

Wow! Tyler is now in 8th grade and growing faster than we can keep up with. He is a great kid and is very responsible.

Lacey is in fourth grade this year. They say this is the biggest year of changes in your child's life. We'll see what's in store for us!

Alexia is in sixth grade this year. She is now "head of the school" . She is very outgoing and loves to help other people. She is running for President and we hope she gets it. Her stand on things is that if every person did one random act of kindness a day, it would change the whole school. She came up with this all by herself. She is so smart!

Lacey's Birthday

For Lacey's 9th birthday, she invited two friends, Maylie Coles and Kalli Harris. We made homemade pizza and fruit pizza. I think she had fun.

Boise Trip

Tyler and his girl, Emma
We had a lot of fun in Boise. We went on a Scenic Idaho Train ride in Horeshoe Bend. Lacey was terrified to ride the train! Once she realized she was going to be ok, she had fun. We also spent a day at roaring springs (Forgot to bring the camera)! I wish we had pictures of this.

Tyler and Emma became best friends! I don't know if she liked him because he was always in her chair, or she just really liked him, but she wouldn't play with anyone else.

Foothill Angels

We have experienced many miracles in our married life! We strongly believe angels have interceded on our part to save our lives. Although we don't know what our mission in life is, we know we are still here for a reason.
